our great country.
If you or someone you know is currently serving or has served in the U.S.
Military, please contact us at 856.488.7868 or email us at Events@CHTownship.com
so the Township can publicly honor the selfless service and sacrifice of all the

Memorial Day Ceremony.

COMMANDERS Corner:
It has been my privilege and honor to serve as your Post Commander this past
year.
With only 5% of our membership actively participating on the Executive Board,
much has been accomplished. I want to thank each member of the Executive Board
for making my job easy.
Sam Podietz, the new Commander designate, brings much to this position. He will
have my full support.
Sincerely,
Milt Lowe, Commander
FROM THE JWVA POST 126 PRESIDENT:
Ladies of the Auxiliary,
The recent collection of "coupons" has been sent out to the Aviano Air Base
Commissary in Italy. We are still collecting them, but they must be CUT OUT and
have a 3 month window from the CURRENT expiration date. The commissaries are
extremely interested in BABY PRODUCTS, DIAPERS, HEALTH AND BEAUTY AIDS AND
CEREALS. Grocery items are also needed.
The CAMDEN COUNTY WOMENS CENTER is interested in receiving our BEARS. I will be
bringing them to the meeting and your help is needed to TAG them. PLEASE bring
more BEARS so we can make a significant presentation. TOILETRIES are still
needed as well. We will either give them to the WOMENS CENTER or to JEWISH
FAMILY AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES.
CHANGING OF THE GUARD:
The current Post Adjutant will be retiring at the end of his term in June. It
has been my pleasure to serve the Post as Junior Vice Commander for four years
and as Adjutant for the last two. Life moves on. I still expect to be available
on an ad hoc basis to assist the Executive Board with the Post’s many
activities.
I encourage ALL members to volunteer for at least two events in the next year.
Even as we age, there are still many ways to serve our fellow Jewish Vets. Serve
on the Phone Squad. Attend meetings or call an officer for transportation. Give
two hours or more to our Poppy Drives to raise money for Veterans in need. Come
on out to the Stand Down in September to escort a homeless Vet. If you have any
degree of mobility or can at least use the telephone or email, you can help.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED. Let’s all do whatever we can to assist those in need.
WELCOME NEW MEMBER:
Daniel Avni
Scott Barrett – Murray, KY
E-5 Todd D. Rosenfield - Delmar, NY
