Friday, September 21^st

A one-day event, which will end at 3:00p.m. to serve homeless veterans at the Cherry Hill Armory. Volunteers are needed for a variety of committees throughout the day from 7 a.m. until the area of operation is cleared. All volunteers, in any capacity, are requested to register in advance by August 7, 2007. Registration forms are available from the Post 126 Adjutant.

After you have registered, committee assignments and schedules will be discussed at meetings at the Cherry Hill Armory either Tuesday, September 11th or Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 at 7:00p.m.

SAVE THE DATE!

The date for the Dance is November 10^th, 2007, which is also the 232^nd Anniversary of the founding of the US Marine Corps. The location will be the Palace of Asia Ballroom behind the Howard Johnson’s on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, the same location as June’s very successful Installation Brunch. Expect more information soon.

Over the Memorial Day and 4^th of July Holidays, Post 126 carried out two very successful poppy drives to support our activities on behalf of Veterans. These fund raising events remain the financial backbone of the Post, raising almost $15,000 last year. Also a great many volunteers took part during these periods. Thanks go out to the following (if we miss anyone, please let us know so that we can recognize you next month):
